What happens next

  1. Send a short note

Your business name, city and what you need.

  2. Get a reply

Ali or a senior strategist answers, usually the next business day.

  3. Plan the next step

If it fits, you get a clear proposal. If not, honest advice.

Which way to reach us

Answer first: use whichever is easiest from where you are standing. Most trades owners text from the truck; that works fine.

  • Call if you want to talk it through now. Calls during the hours above usually reach a senior strategist directly.
  • Text if you are on a job. Send the symptom in one line and a good time to call you back.
  • Email if you want to send numbers, screenshots or a list of questions. Email is the easiest way to share last month's figures.

There is no online booking page, chat window or sign-up. One message is enough to start.

What to put in your first message

Answer first: the symptom, your trade and location, and as many of the four numbers below as you have. Rough is fine.

  1. The symptom, in your own words: "phone's dead since September", "all tire-kickers", "competitor has 300 reviews, we have 12", "I never get to it".
  2. Trade and service area, for example "residential electrical, [City] and 40 km around".
  3. Last month's numbers, if you have them: enquiries, enquiries you actually spoke to, quotes sent, jobs won.
  4. Average job value, even a range.
  5. What you have tried, such as an earlier agency, ads you ran yourself or a lead platform.

A template you can copy into a text or email:

"Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name], a [trade] business in [City]. Our main problem is [symptom]. Last month we had about [number] enquiries and won about [number] jobs. Average job is around $[amount]. Best time to reach me is [time]."

What happens after you get in touch

Answer first: a short conversation, then a written next step, with no obligation at any point.

  1. We reply, usually within one business day, to set a time or start right away.
  2. The first conversation runs about 30 minutes. We go through the symptom and your numbers and tell you what we think the real problem is. Sometimes it is a different one from the one you called about.
  3. A short audit, if it makes sense. We look at your Google profile, website, call handling and any ad accounts, with your permission.
  4. A written recommendation: the first fix, what it costs, how long it should take and how we will measure it. If no plan makes sense for you yet, we say so and tell you what to do yourself.

You decide from there. Plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice, so there is no large commitment to agonise over. The pricing page has the full table.

Before you call: try the self-check

If you'd like to arrive with a sharper question, the self-diagnosis guide takes about twenty minutes and ranks the four problems by what they cost you. Owners who have done it usually get more out of the first conversation, because we can skip straight to the cause.

You can also read through the four fixes on the services page and pick the one that sounds most like your week.

About who you are contacting

Trades.Solutions is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. We are a marketing and business consulting service for trades and home-service businesses; we are not a contractor, so please don't contact us to book a repair or installation.

We handle your details under Canadian privacy law and use them only to reply to you. More on the people behind the work is on the about page.

Frequently asked questions

Who will I talk to?

A senior strategist, not a sales script or a call centre. The first conversation is about your problem, not about selling a plan.

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. Eligible trades businesses get the first 30 minutes free, and that call has nothing to do with signing up for a plan.

What if I don't know which problem I have?

That's normal. Describe what bothers you most and bring whatever numbers you have. Working out the real problem is the first part of the job.

Will you add me to a mailing list?

No. We only reply to people who contact us first, and we only send follow-ups you have agreed to receive.
