What it costs to fix a trades marketing problem

Fixing one problem starts at $1,999 a month, which drops to $1,499 a month if you pay annually; Canadian clients add GST/HST based on their province. Every plan is month-to-month with 30 days' notice, and the first 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses.

Pricing here follows the Trades.Agency pricing page, because Trades.Solutions is part of the same group and uses the same plans. The short version: plans from $1,999 per month, or $1,499 per month on annual billing, plus GST/HST. What changes from owner to owner is which problem the money goes towards first.

The three plans

Answer first: there are three plans, and the right one depends on how many of the four problems you are fixing at once and how much of the weekly work you want taken off your hands.

Plan Month-to-month Billed annually What it covers
Growth $1,999/month $1,499/month The core marketing an established trades business needs; suits one focused fix
Elite $3,999/month $2,999/month Wider work across several channels, and Trades.Agency website design packages at half price
Enterprise $7,999/month $5,999/month Your own dedicated marketing team and priority support, with a website design and build (any package) included at no charge

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Canadian clients add GST or HST at their provincial rate (GST and QST in Quebec). Nothing locks you in beyond a 30-day notice period, because every plan rolls month to month. Annual commitments are discounted, as shown.

Matching a plan to your problem

Use the problem, not the plan name, to decide. These are typical starting points, not rules.

  • One clear problem, one location: Growth. For example, a plumbing shop losing calls after hours, or a roofer with 9 reviews against competitors with 120. One focused fix at a time.
  • Two or three problems at once, or several service lines: Elite. Typical for a business with both a lead-quality problem and a review gap, or one that needs a new website as part of the fix.
  • All four, multiple locations or a large team: Enterprise. Usually a company where the owner has no time at all and wants a dedicated team running the weekly work.

If you can't tell which applies, that is what the free consultation is for.

What drives the cost of a fix

Answer first: the cost of fixing a problem depends less on the problem's name and more on how much is broken underneath it.

  1. Starting condition. A business with a working website and a claimed Google profile is cheaper to fix than one starting from nothing.
  2. Number of service lines. Each job type you want more of needs its own page, keywords and tracking.
  3. Geography. One town is simpler than a region, and a region is simpler than several provinces with different languages and rules.
  4. Ad spend. Paid channels need a platform budget on top of management.
  5. How much you hand off. A full no-time hand-off covers more weekly work than a single targeted fix.

Check the price against the problem

Before signing anything, here or anywhere else, compare the monthly fee with the monthly cost of the problem.

Say missed calls are costing you about 6 jobs a month, and your average job brings $900 in gross profit. That leak costs roughly $5,400 a month. A $1,999 plan that recovers even half those jobs pays for itself, with $700 left over, before counting any new demand. Now take a business whose real problem costs $800 a month. A $3,999 plan doesn't make sense for it yet, and we will say so.

Do this sum with your own numbers. The self-diagnosis guide shows how to put a dollar figure on each of the four problems.

Things you will not pay for

  • Getting your accounts back. You keep your website, domain, Google profile and ad accounts. They stay in your name.
  • Long lock-in. Month-to-month means we have to earn the next month.
  • The first conversation. The 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses.

For how results are measured, see the results page. To ask which plan fits, call, text or email and tell us your symptom; we'll tell you whether a plan makes sense yet.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a long-term contract?

No. There is no term to sit out: the plan rolls monthly, and 30 days' notice ends it. Annual billing is optional and lowers the monthly price.

Does the price include ad spend?

Ask us to confirm this for your plan before you start. As a rule, money paid to Google or other platforms for clicks is budgeted separately from the management fee, and we show both in your monthly report.

Do you charge for the first conversation?

No. For eligible trades businesses the opening 30-minute consultation costs nothing, and it doesn't commit you to a plan.

Do prices include GST or HST?

No. Prices are in Canadian dollars. GST or HST is added by province, with GST and QST in Quebec.

Can I start on a smaller plan and move up?

Yes. Many owners start with one fix on the Growth plan and move up only when the first problem is solved and the next one is bigger.
